In addition to the youth Sunday school classes, we provide the opportunity for our youth to gather in welcoming environments both at our home church and with our sister church, FPC Tullahoma.

Regular Youth Group resumes Aug 7 @FPC Tullahoma
Confirmation class will be open to all middle and high school students. We have around three who have not yet had the opportunity to take a confirmation class yet. FPC Tullahoma also has about three who are likely to be confirmed this year. Pastor Stephen Yates and I have decided to co-teach a confirmation class for both churches. We will gather on Sunday Afternoons from 4pm to 5pm. We will alternate locations between our two church buildings for the six weeks of Lent (March 10th to April 14th). The March 10th Class will be at FPC Manchester. After the classes, we will break off and each church will finish the confirmation process separately.
Youth Mission Trip (6th Grade thru 12th Grade)
This year we will be heading to “the Gap” over the Spring Break. Sunset Gap has been serving the families in the Appalachian Mountains for almost 100 years. Many of the families in this area need help with clothing, food, shelter, and many other things. Sunset Gap also runs a food pantry, hot meals program and thrift store. They host churches and other organizations at the center’s dorms for mission work. You can find out more by going towww.sunsetgap.com.
Our group will leave on Tuesday evening, March 26, at 4:00pm and return Saturday, March 30. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will be spent working on our mission project(s). Saturday, we will do something fun. Total cost is still being worked out, and will also depend on number going, it will be cheaper per person the more people go. If you are interested in going, please touch base with me and we can start confirming numbers and cost.
