Good Samaritan is a food bank that serves those in need in Manchester and the larger Coffee County area. This agency was founded in 1983 as a response to hunger in our midst. In addition to serving as a food bank, Good Samaritan assists with energy costs by serving as an administering agency for Project HELP.
First Presbyterian contributes to Good Samaritan with our time, talent, and treasure. The second Sunday of each month our congregants participate in a peanut butter drive, a staple of the Good Samaritan pantry. Our church also makes monetary contributions as needed. Most importantly, our members volunteer at Good Samaritan every Monday. If you would like to be a part of this important mission, just stop by!

Wednesdays* -12:30 - 3:30 p.m.
*Good Sam is CLOSED on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
