Our Sunday School classes meet every week at 10:00 a.m. before Worship. Two adult Sunday school classes are available. Children's classes are divided by level.
Children and Youth Classes follow the Feasting on the Word lectionary-based curriculum. Children are also invited to sit up front during worship for a “moment with young disciples.” This meaningful part of worship allows our pastor to reflect on the Bible lessons directly with the children each week and reinforces the discussions and activities from the Sunday School lessons.
The Wilderness Wanderers Adult Class will begin a study of the Acts of the Apostles on January 6, 2019. The combined writings of Luke (Luke-Acts) make up about 28% of our New Testament. Luke was a physician and wrote some of the most polished Greek we have in our Bible. We welcome any and all as we learn about our Biblical heritage. There will be weekly handouts that summarize the material as we proceed through Acts chapter by chapter.
The Adult Sunday School II Class uses the lectionary-based curriculum, Feasting on the Word. Each week, we read and discuss one of the Bible texts from Worship.
