our mission

ALL seeks to develop the independence and self-sufficiency of immigrant families and members of the larger community by providing them with education needed to navigate daily life in the United States. The program will seek to address participants’ needs due to language and literacy barriers, enable them to better manage their own finances effectively, improve their cultural awareness, and enable them to confidently navigate daily life in the United States in a multifaceted way.

Success Stories

"I arrived to the US this year and I was so afraid to go shopping by myself, yesterday I was able to shop some shoes and provide my phone number and I understood everything the lady at the cashier asked."

L1 student, 30 year old female

"I have been in the US for 13 years and I have been looking for classes. I wanted consistency and there have been ESL classes here, but I couldn't get the consistency I needed. Through [ALL at FPC] I have been able to get structure, consistency, practice, and confidence with my English. I have been learning more here than I have been in the last 13 years in Manchester. Thank you teacher Alondra."

L2 student, 45 year old female

"I am thankful for the resources we have. I am thankful for this English Class and … the people that make this class happen.”

L3 student, 48 year old female
