The mission of Manchester Hope Outreach is to share the love of Jesus in a very tangible way by providing items and services to people in need.
While meeting physical needs, Manchester Hope Outreach encourages participants to set goals and take steps to improve their life and make better choices. We want to make sure we are giving a hand up, not just a hand out. We want to build relationships and walk through life with our participants.
First Presbyterian Church partners with our community and hosts a Hope Dinner once a month at our church location. Two more churches (Canvas Community and First Missionary Baptist) joined our efforts in January. We now have four churches each taking a different Thursday (see dinner schedule below).
Dinner is served at 5:30 each week.
1st Thursday of each Month - First Missionary Baptist Church near Westwood
2nd Thursday of each month - Forrest Mill Church of Christ on Hwy 55
3rd Thursday of each month - First Presbyterian on Jackson St near Food Lion
4th Thursday of each month - Canvas Community Church near CCHS
