Join Mike Bradley for a study of a very human follower of Jesus Christ, the fisherman Simon Peter. Peter blundered in his practice of the teaching of Jesus, spoke before he thought, was prone to bluster…and was told he was the rock on which the church was founded. Like us, Peter was a flawed disciple, but he was faithful. We can learn more from Peter.

The youth class will be using a study called “The Passion.” When we study the Passion of Jesus, we are invited to journey with Jesus through one of those weeks. These Scriptures teach us important things about Jesus, and ultimately show us the true heart of God. God hurts when we hurt. God cries when we cry. God rejoices when we are overcome with joy. Through Jesus’ example, we see all of this and so much more.

The children will have lessons and activities focusing on the Symbols of Easter. On Easter Sunday, during the breakfast following the early service, they will present a short presentation based on their lessons, called “The Symbols of Easter.”
